i am desperate.

desperate for grace.

every moment of the day i am tempted to doubt that there is enough.

i know in my head that there is.

the question is – will my heart continue to fight for the truth that
there is enough grace for today?  and will that spill over into
actions that are informed by such truth?

do i really believe it?  do i believe that everything dealt to me
today is dealt from a hand of mercy and drenched in grace?

i must believe.

i am desperate.

  1. “do i believe that everything dealt to me today is dealt from a hand of mercy and drenched in grace? “that hit me. we must ask that every moment of every day.

  2. Great post!  Thank you for your humility and example of preaching the truth to your heart in times of doubt.  Remember also what Kauflin spoke of at New Attitude with fighting for joy.  Fight for your faith, your joy and for the knowledge of the grace of God!

  3. Dear Andrea,
It seems like a lot of us have been on the down side of the roller coaster recently.  You are not alone.
Oh, Andrea – God will indeed give you the strength to keep on keepin’ on.  It’s going to be so worth it!  It already is worth it – not that you don’t know that already.  Praying that God blesses you with peace,
    Sincerely,
    Thomas

  4. Encouragement: desperation is better than complacency. God uses desparation to engender humility, to dig deeper than we care to and thus show us who we are in light of who He is. God brought you here =) Love ya babe!
